lee says connection -- lisa's connection with these surt luck or destiny. she moved to san jose and was working as a litigation attorney for an intellectual property law firm and finishing the prerequisites for medical school. at least twice a day she would drive down meridian ave and go past a strange looking building that defined itself as indian health center. she would think to yourself, i should see if that place needs volunteers. one day she called, and of -- beloved physician we had identified a project for lisa and actor -- ask her to consider joining the board of directors. with leases unique legal and medical backgrounds, benefits from having both in a single board member we save some times. thank you. and her commitment and leadership have helped guide through more than a decade of growth and the challenges that come with it. her quick, usually irreverent and sometimes wacky, actually always wacky sense of humor enlivens the board meetings, and may leave her in the future to the stage at one of my agencies comedy jam event. lisa looks forward to

lee. >> hi, everybody. i'm frank mallicoat. >>> a teenaged tourist is sexually assaulted near fisherman's wharf. police catch the suspect in the act. it happened early this morning. lisa washington is in san francisco with the latest on the violent crime at the popular tourist attraction. lisa. >> reporter: that's right, grace. we are standing in front. longshoreman's hall here. police received a call for a missing girl around 2:30 a.m. of the reports say that that missing teen was a 15-year-old tourist, a girl who got separated from her group and they say was sexually assaulted behind these bushes early this morning. police have confirmed that two people were taken to the hospital. take a look at this video. you can see the evidence markers on the ground behind the bushes. there is a purse, a scarf or some type of cloth and several other items. police have the area secured for more than three hours. earlier we saw emergency workers putting one person on a stretcher and into an ambulance. apparently, police found the missing girl during the attack. the longshoreman's hall is near the fisherman's wharf hotel area, that often has many tourists. we talked to one who says

lee is off. it's 5:30. crank up the heaters because it's mighty chilly out there. freezing temperatures all across the bay area prompting a lot of people to take precautions overnight. lisahington is in balmy pleasanton. >> reporter: couldn't be better. actually it could. things are pretty nice here in pleasanton. don't know if i would use that word though to describe the temperatures here. you can see we're at the mission plaza and the temperature, yeah, a nice 33 degrees. most of the bay area had to deal with temperatures in the 30s and even the 20s last night. dom of the people who live here in pleasanton didn't take the national weather service's freeze warning lightly. they picked up pipe insulation to prevent those freezing pipes. even insulated dog houses. plants had to be protected because of freezing temperatures. the freeze warning goes until 8:00 this morning so the morning commute will need to be aware of that as there could be black ice on the bridges and overpasses. a good checklist as we have been saying before you head out of course your heaviest coat, gloves, scarf, hat and, of course, as many layers as possible. right elizabeth. >> that's right. layer i
