i am lisa robinson come in for sarah caldwell. therit has been a violent 24 hours, with at least a dozen shootings in the city and at least four people confirmed dead city police responded to west coldspring lane just before 7:30 last night, where they found a man shot and slumped over in a car. a homicide unit has been notified, but there's no official word on the victim's condition at this hour. city police are also investigating three separate double shooting that happened in east baltimore. the first happened at north streeper street just after 3:00 this morning. that is when the police found two male victims, one of them a 20-year-old shot in the face. police say that the second victim only suffered a graze wounds. no word on conditions or possible motive. five hours after the shooting, officers responded to the 200 block of eaton street. a 32-year-old man was killed in that attack. the other victim is in the hospital right now. this shooting may have stemmed from a possible robbery attempt. just minutes before that, officers

. >> lisa robinson has more on how things got so out of control. >> forget about road rage. police say parking lot rage entered new levels here in white marsh friday night with two people ended up being struck by a vehicle. last friday night around 8:25 at the avenue in white marsh, the driver of an oldsmobile, a 35- year-old brandy ames of edgewood became irate. >> the driver of the oldsmobile became enraged when the driver of the book's second part at this but she was going to park at. >> the got into a physical fight. then things got really out of control. >> she pulled forward and struck the passenger of the volkswagen, pinning her against the vehicle. >> when ames saw a witness taking down information, she drove into that person, striking her as well. she is charged with assault and various traffic charges for fleeing the scene. people who witnessed the incident are outraged. >> out of control. very much of control. >> this is definitely one of those things we need to avoid. as grown adults and as kids as well, you know. to know that someone had to go through all of tha

. >> good morning, everyone, i'm lisa robinson. it's 7:55.stories. jury deliberations continue next week in the trial of two men accused in the murder at towson town center mall. frank williams and william word iii are charged in the shooting death of 19-year-old rodney pridget at the mall in december of last year. prosecution contends the defendants wanted to kill pridget after hearing pridget allegedly killed williams' cousin. the jury is expected to reconvene tuesday. athletes, students and spectators observed a moment of silence friday before perry hall's high school football home opener in honor of daniel, the 17-year-old in critical condition after being shot on monday on the school campus. gladden jr.robert is charged as an adult in the shooting. 11 news has learned medical professionals are working to close a gunshot wound in daniel's back. his family and friends are grateful for the support from the community. a website has been set up to help fund daniel's medical expenses. honor more at wbaltv.com. a baltimore county police officer

. >> i'm lisa robinson. it's 7:25. police are calling the grandson of the elderly couple found murdered in pikesville a suspect in the case. investigators say 31-year-old matthew long was discovered in oklahoma september 11, long was living with his grandparents, vaughn and marjorie pepper, when they were killed, but was missing when the police discovered the couple's bodies on monday. according to police, as long in a hospital in oklahoma receiving medical treatment. baltimore county detectives are there waiting for a chance to interview him. >> we entered mr. long into the national missing person's database. when he was located in oklahoma on september 11, they notified the baltimore county police department. >> police have described the couple's injuries as traumatic but are not saying how they died. the search continues for the man who opened fire on the campus of morgan state university wednesday. investigators say the 19-year-old victim was visiting his cousin when he was shot in the stomach. they say he was targ

i'm lisa robinson. it's 8:26. here's a look at the morning's top stories.un after a mrfr said he walked in on him shooting another man. it unfolded friday night around midnight in the 2200 block of jefferson street. we're told shots were exchanged between the oftenser and suspect after the suspect refused to drop his gun. the officer was not hurt. the shooter escaped in a silver colored car. a 30-year-old man is in critical condition. carroll county officials say speed may have been a factor in a deadly crash in eldersburg. it happened saturday afternoon around 1:15 as the car drove into the intersection of johnsonville road and hit a jeep. the jeep's driver identified as lake forester was ejected. he died at the hospital. the driver of the honda suffered nonlife threatening injuries. >>> a thumbs up from daniel borrowy. the perry hall high school student and his family attended a fund-raiser saturday to help pay his medical bills. he suffers from downs syndrome, and was shot on the side of his torso on the first date of school inside the cafeteria at perry

. >> good morning, pefrn i'm lisa robinson. time 7:26. here's a look at the morning's top stories.altimore city police department gathered friday to honor an officer who died while on duty. funeral services for officer forest taylor were held at that time cathedral of mary our queen. officer taylor was in route to a call when his cruiser collided with another vehicle back in february. he died last week from his injuries. >> he's a testament and example of really what it takes to have a dedicated long career. 17 years doing all those difficult assignments. he is the example of commitment. >> officer taylor was laid to rest in his home town of annapolis. he leaves behind a wife and two children. the co-founder of h&s bakery has passed away. called a pillar of the greek community, tsakalos opened h&s in 1943, the h standing for harry, the s for steve fp bread was made by hand and delivered personally. h&s bakery has grown into one of the largest bakeries on the east coast. it's still family owned and operated. harry tsakalos was >> humid in the 70s this morning. there are some stormy

. >> welcome to 11 news saturday morning, i'm lisa robinson. >> and i'm jennifer franciotti. first we are going to check outside with meteorologist john collins. when i stepped outside, it was getting windy, a little cloudy. >> it was nice out. >> but beautiful, warm. >> it's comfortable. there are clouds and a cold front is going through stirring up the breeze a little bit but there's no rain with it. >> that's nice. >> beginning to be a little dry here and there but no rain with the front and our temperatures the past couple of days are in the low to mid 80's for highs so this front will knock things back about 10 degrees. the front is generating a little shower activity up by new york city. the front is over the chesapeake bay right now. east of the bay, there's a southerly breeze, swinging around the next couple of hours and the northwest breeze will keep us cooler and keep us dry and eventually help us introduce a much bigger storm system which will be here early next week and that's what i'll talk about with the insta-weather plus forecast coming up in a few minutes. >>
