if you have any information, call lisbon police. the iowa county sheriff's office says there's a piece of dangerous road on highway 212. officials believe frost there contributed to a crash which killed a teenage mother and her son. yesterday morning, officials say 18-year-old bethany clark, of belle plaine, and her two-year-old son roran were traveling on that highway near marengo. the iowa county sheriff's office says clark lost control of the car on the frost- covered road. clark's car went into a ditch and caught fire. she and her son died at the scene. the sheriff's department says this area is more prone to accidents because drivers notice the slight curve. according to data from the iowa department of transportation, this is the first fatal crash on the curve. there have only been two other crashes here before. one was in 2005. the other in 2010. neither was major. the sheriff says the layer of frost most likely made the road slick and caused clark to crash. frost was also a factor in a two-vehicle crash that sent three peopl
