numbers around the bay area right now, 49 degrees in livermore, 56 in san jose. and a warm 62 already in san francisco. so yeah, those offshore winds still in effect but starting to break down. you will find sunshine in the central valley, 80s there, high country looking good. if you want to do some spring skiing, fantastic. lots of sunshine, a little slushy into the afternoon with temperatures this warm. by the weekend though we have some rain moving in and some showers, looks like a warm system. so yeah, could make things more slushy through the weekend. still, high pressure starting to slide in a bit. as it moves east, we start to catch more of a sea breeze meaning slightly cooler temperatures heading our way. not bad. squeezing in another nice day, april warm. temperatures looking like this. lots of 70s and 80s. 81 morgan hill, 79 degrees in san jose. and about 78 degrees in fremont. 60s back at the coastline. watch out for patchy fog along the coast later in the day. warm temperatures in much of the east bay as high as 81 in livermore, 83 in brentwood, 82 in

westbound 580 an earlier accident in livermore backed things up.s heavy now out of the altamont pass. westbound 580 a 25-minute drive between 680 and the dublin interchange. and check the brake lights right now through antioch. this is definitely a slow spot here, as well. just your usual stuff though towards somersville. then speeds improve towards pittsburg into concord. other bridges, the san mateo bridge we have had no problems all morning so everything looks great. about a 13-minute drive coming out of hayward heading toward the high-rise. and continuing on towards foster city and the peninsula. and the marin county commute is giving us no problems all morning, as well. southbound 101 easy conditions, easy commute all the way through the waldo grade heading across the span. also the golden gate bridge northbound traffic looks good. all right. here's some popular drive times for east bay commuters. westbound 80, 21 minutes down the eastshore freeway. westbound 580 sluggish through livermore. the nimitz looks great through oakland into downtown.
