liz? >> all right, lisa, thank you. >>> and this morning, cal fire is fighting a vegetation fire near arroyo road in the south livermore area. right now it's only ten acres but crews say it has potential to grow to 100 acres. firefighters are battling several other fires in san mateo and santa cruz counties. it's possible the fires were started by the widespread lightning. that is a concern we'll be following. really we need to stay safe out there even as we want to get a peek of this lightning. >>> for the second night in a row pg&e was ordered by the agency to rotate power outages. it's unclear if there will be any planned outages today. the outages affected up to 220,000 customers in the central valley and central coast, including monterey, santa cruz and san joaquin counties. pg&e says power was restored about 9:30 last night. and the state agency cal iso said there wouldn't be outages, but said the change of plans was made due to increased electricity demand and unexpected loss of bot

liz? >> lisa, thank you. hundreds of people took to the streets of oakland and san jose overnight to protest police brutality. the demonstrations part of a day of activism around the country on the 57th anniversary of martin luther king jr.'s march on washington. race and social justice are some key areas wee focused on here here. and protesters through downtown and it did lead to some vandalism near mayor ricardo's home. video overnight of neighbors helping to scrub the walls and dry clean. crews say protester were peaceful for the most part last night. hundreds started at city hall around 7:00 p.m. marching through downtown. you can see here even some people jumped into the cupid shuffle holding signs demanding an end to police brutality. mayor ricardo who does have a black lives matter sign in his window was asked about the vandalism immediately after it happened. >> it doesn't -- it doesn't have anything to do with the message. have anything to do with the movement. >> the continued demand for change hurt
