liz kreutz peered we will start with a look at weather. we have meteorologist lise arjun. good morning to you. lisa: we have been talking about our commute, a little slick out there. there is a rotation in the clouds, an area of low pressure sitting over here. some of the shower activity from american canyon, highway 37, down to hercules, 80 in crockett but otherwise it has been spotty. the north dow through novato but here we are looking at a mix of rain and 580 in dublin to the east bay, 680 what weather around here, back toward to 80. the peninsula, highway 10 one half moon bay, you can see the showers from here over there 680 in san jose and the snow on mount hamilton. a level 1 system with scattered showers and there is a look at most of the activity offshore, south of the bay area's of the level 1 for the morning hours, in the 40's are now and we will be looking at temperatures on the cooler side of average even though we start out milder this morning. there's a look at the gusty winds are so it gets set for 50's and partly cloudy later on today. zach: thank you. to track the rain this mornin

lisa: putting the bond market aside because perhaps the bond market is pricing in the slow down, isn't the stock market disagreeing based on january's action? lizlutely. this is what gets confusing for investors. you look at the conflicting data but say -- and say one of them will be wrong but one of them would be right. the stock market traded on number -- different things. some work technical and some were opposite of what happened last year and we forgot that december was quite painful in the nasdaq and the s&p. as we got excited about a 6% rally of the s&p in january, it was down 6% in december and the nasdaq was down 9% so it was not as if that we got this new outflow -- alpha generation. there were other things that came into play, inflation is moving in the right direction. goods inflation probably moves to all-out deflation that is a good thing for consumers and that is affecting for input costs. the concern is at what point does the inflation drop get stuck? fully get stuck at a level that is hard than what the fed is comfortable with and is it stuck at a level that keeps the fed hawkish. how long can businesses and economies sustain?
