on the mainland here, there's certainly a lot of concern for flooding in low lying areas here in long beach. crews have been helping residents pack up as many sandbags as possible. they've also built berms along the beach to try to prevent any of the flooding that would come in from the ocean. there certainly is so much concern here in southern california as for catalina island, they have issued an advisory, an urgent warning for everyone to leave the island as quickly as possible. they are especially concerned for those with medical conditions. the number one concern on the island will be the loss of power. they expect that could happen pretty quickly if there's any kind of flash flooding, i should say. they think that the power plant could flood quite easily. so that is why they are trying to get everyone off the island as quickly as possible. back live now here. as i said, catalina express adding extra boats to their schedule. every boat so far tonight has filled up. they are no more seats available. we are told there might be 1 or 2. they are now looking at possibly bringing in county f
