lonnie, is the end in sight?reporter: certainly relief in sight, it is not here yet, but it is in sight, i think sunday will be the day. the culprit here is the polar vortex, that big batch of polar air that dropped into the midwest and portions of the northeast as well. well, by sunday it will start to retract to the north, and as it does, you are going to see a big swing in temperatures. take a look at chicago. on sunday, forecasted high temperature 50 degrees. 50 degrees after all this cold. that is a 71 degree swing, about the biggest swing they have ever had in a three or four day period. minneapolis will be 42, a 65 degree swing. atlanta, georgia, home of the super bowl, it will be about 60 degrees, a 33 degree swing from where they were this morning. i will say for atlanta, cloudy sky on super bowl sunday, about a 30% to 40% risk for a shower. but they've got a retractable roof, so they can take care of that. it is not a problem for them. i will say it's not a shower we are looking at on the west coast. we
