as you can imagine, the san francisco zoo and animal lovers are mourning the death of the youngest gorilla here. what the zoo is saying that they were following standard closing procedures. it was after closing time on friday when they were moving the animals into their nighttime area when suddenly this gorilla unexpectedly dashed under a closing hydraulic door. she was born in july of 2013 and the public actually helped vote on her name. at six months old, she was gradually introduced into the troupe. she brought great joy to the zoo and the public. the zoo is investigating how and why this accident happened. they're reviewing their policies and procedures. some animal deaths are more difficult to process than others. this tragedy has struck us in the deepest way imaginable. they say during a period of mourning an adjustment the zoo will -- >>> hundreds of people still without water tonight after a water main break this morning. 200 people on the east side of browns valley road could be without water for the rest of the night. crews are trying to fix the problem. they know it is urgent. >
