it's all because of this low pressure area. yesterday, the first storm system that came along with the winds. now you have a second system passing through. that bringing the snow to the sierra and well, the moisture to the bay too. these are our first winter weather advisories for the bay area since 2011. so this is pretty significant here. as of right now, they're up in the santa cruz mountains as well as the diablo range is freezing temperatures with frost advisories to freeze warnings taking effect tonight into tomorrow morning. this is one we're most likely to see any sort of low elevation. snow fall will be during evening hours tonight and then especially tomorrow night leading into friday morning, coldest temperatures dropping down into the 20's, which would certainly make that possible. this is where we're projecting snowfall for the bay area. it's mostly for upper elevations up in the santa cruz mountains as well as the blows. but look at this snow at the coastline indoors or areas of northern sonoma and mendocino count
