luke russert joins me now. luke, i want to start with you. tell us about the court hearing in just a few minutes. >> it's at 1:30 here in federal court in washington, d.c. from my conversations i have had had with pete williams, there's not a lot the fed's can do here possibility that they would charge him with having an unregistered gyrocopter or perhaps some sort of federal violation of these aviation laws. what's so striking thomas is i have been doing research on this. he was able to penetrate three separate layers of secure air space. the layer around maryland, the immediate layer around d.c. and closer suburbs and then the area around the national mall. so for him to do that and walk away with just perhaps at least legally a slap on the wrist i think will strike people as odd. i asked a few members of congress what they thought should happen and most think he should be punished because there needs to be some sort of punishment that makes sure something like this does not happen again. it happened in a way that can be far more nefarious.
