( darya ) a new report says lake temescal in oakland... may be more vulnerable to sewage spills than previously reported. the lake is occasionally closed because of algae blooms ... but the report by the alameda county grand jury concludes that it is sometimes contaminated by sewage. the lake is frequently closed when water testing reveals contamination ... but the grand jury finds that the public isnt always told what that contamination actually is. park goers we spoke with were surprised by the report.
