thanks macy.wanted to take us back to july 20th, 20, when everyone here was all hands on deck in response to the pandemic. and that was when, as folks have mentioned, the state issued its first homekey nofa. for $600 million for our cities and nonprofit partners to apply to buy buildings, to provide housing for the most vulnerable residents, at risk of homelessness and experience homelessness. a ton of people here got together and put in an application for this building. that application went in on august 12th and we were waitlisted on october ninth. so yesterday, a few years back, we received the notice that this project was awarded the max amount of funds from homekey $26 million for acquisition and rehab and another $3 million in an operating subsidy. but these are federal funds. and the condition was we had to close by december 2nd to get those funds. so less than 60 days and as you can imagine, this beautiful building which was built in 1912, has all of these amazing characteristics about it.
