jeff maher filling in for michelle. thank you for being with us. we're talking about shane ross here. the son of las vegas council member steve ross making his first court appearance today. string of armed robberies here in the valley. news 3's craig fiegener has the latest from the regional justice center on this case. >> craig: steve ross has been accused in, like you say, a string of robberies. but it did take time to figure out who was connected to the robberies. there was security video images. even detectives looking at it weren't sure exactly who the suspect was until somebody says that certainly looks like the son of council member steve ross, mayor pro-tem, of las vegas. he is charged with six crimes related to a string of armed robberies. the 27-year-old arrested august 19th after somebody recognized him as shane ross based on those security camera images i told you about. council member ross was not in court but he said his son was battling addiction. attorney chestnut has been hired to represent shane. he expects to file a motion for re
