so again, we have a couple different water main breaks. east bound university at pine any oig bridge, eastbound lanes shut down for the water main break. and then this one where tom kierein is for us, king street at quaker lane, the intersection shut down because of the water main break and the water just flowing down the road. no doubt going to freeze with these very cold temperatures. big look at things, you can take a look at the map and see that we're pretty green. but that's because we have such light volume. stay off the roads if you can. beltway here at river road, again, the main lanes look pretty good. this is the way i came. you can see as you get off on ranson, get looped around, really a lot of the roadway is blocked, very slushy, icy, so be careful there. northbound bw parkway at 440, a ramp blocked there. very icy, as well. more coming up. >>> 4:34. we have complete coverage of the blizzard of 2016. no matter where you try and go today, it is going to take and you while. you just heard melissa tell us about the slushy and eye

we've gotten to the scene of a water main break, pretty sizeable one. this is between lancaster, that section of church road is closed off because of this water main break in the area of chester valley golf club. that's where crews just got on scene. we saw them arrive shortly. wau is here as well as someone from the township, a police officer. they're trying to ascertain exactly where this water main break is coming from. backup crews are coming out here to hopefully put an end to it. there is just a lot of water pouring out on to the street. of course, with the temperatures where they are, things are freezing pretty quickly. it is extremely slippery on all these surfaces. even if you can't see that ice has formed and it doesn't look icy, it is. it's almost like a skating rink. we have to be very careful as we walk around here. for obvious reasons, this section of road is closed off. it's going to be difficult for the crews to be working in these conditions because it is just so downright cold. and the wind just bringing that temperature way, way down.
