malcolm, it seems like this is the last stand for the rebels. tell us exactly where you are now. >> reporter: well, i'm in a military base that originally belonged to the government, and then the rebels took it from them last year. the government took it back just a few days ago when the rebels retreated. you can see the gun behind me that rebels have to leave mind. it looks like they poured petro all ovepetrolall over it and trt it on fire, but they think they can get it going again....
