sports director mark viviano with more on manny machado. mark. >>> we're used to dealing with violent injuries but the orioles playing this afternoon in st. petersburg florida against the tampa bay rays. we have video of a terrible injury suffered by manny ma machado in the top of the 7th inning. he was hit at the end of the game. but when running toward second base he hit the bag awkwardly and his knee would bend awkwardly. machado was down on the ground screaming in pain. he was tended to by the trainers. he was put on a stretcher and carted off the field. the extent of the injury we do not know yet. but it appears to be a serious knee injury for manny machado who made his major league debut last august and has played every game since. 287 consecutive games games. the orioles have seven regular season games to go. a lot of players have gone on to twitter to offer their prayers for what seemed to be a very serious injury for machado. >>> and now let's turn to football. even though flacco and the ravens offense have not played to their pote
