i mean you have the real possibility here with sharron angle and marco rubio and ken buck and joe millerp in alaska and christine o'donnell, you can have a different republican caucus next year. >> well, you could. but i'm not sure that any of these are as radical as people, that all of these are as radical some say. i think sharron angle is a particularly bad candidate in nevada. it may lose us republicans, a seat that was attainable. harry reid is extremely unpopular in the state. he should be trailing by double digits. to donnell is a weak candidate. not sure how much influence they'd have elected in the caucus. i mean overall, people have to decide do you want to follow the buckley rule and get elected? in delaware, that candidate was castle. he won 12 times statewide. she lost twice, o'donnell has lost twice. it's probably a lost seat and it could cost them the majority which would be divisive. >> chris: all right. tell us what topic you would like us to discuss in friday's lightning round. log on to your home page at foxnews.com/special report. vote in the online poll. we have more

winning their primaries and that includes some high profile wins by sharon angle in nevada and marco rubiobetter about their chances to hold on to the u.s. senate. brian todd is following this story for us. brian, what are you seeing? >> one political analyst says the democrats haven't gotten news this good for months after being on the ropes in delaware. they now believe they have got the upper hand because of the upset victory of a candidate who some key figures inside the republican party say is flawed. she could savor it for a few moments. no sooner had christine o'donnell celebrated victory in delaware's republican primary than she had to deftd defend herself to her own party. >> i know that we can win this even if the establishment doesn't get behind me. >> reporter: she says the same thing about remarks from some party heavyweights outside delaware like former bush strategist karl rove. he says he's met o'donnell, is nottism pressed and says there's a host of personal questions she hasn't answered. quote, how does she make her living? why did she mislead voters about her college edu

marco rubio, who is -- he may be considered a tea party candidate, he is, of course, not exactly a politicaler speaking of the assembly in florida, and a lot of people think he's one of the brightest young stars in the republican party, and the kind of person who could someday emerge as a presidential candidate, he looks like he's well ahead now, so at least three of the four candidates you mentioned are doing very well. christine o'donnell is behind, but jenna, in you -- if you get the wave election this could turn out to be where you have this just sun ami of votes turning out on the republican side, all kinds of people who might even be behind will get swept into office and she could be one of them. jenna: it will be interesting to watch. we've heard different reports about how the white house looks to handle quote unquote the tea party, everything from "the new york times" saying they're going to directly campaign or take on the tea party to the white house saying that's not the case. but i want to get your expert opinion on something we saw yesterday in the town hall meeting that the pr
