marianne favro is in cupertino with a story you'll only see right here on nbc bay area. the complaints center around this alliance gas station here on stevens creek boulevard. so far, four people have filed formal complaints with the county, but we found at least ten people who say they have had similar issues. denine gallagher says her infiniti is still in the shop, more than three weeks after she filled her tank from an unleaded pump at this alliance gas station on stevens creek boulevard in cupertino. at about three blocks. and my car sputtered and then it just completely stopped. she took her car to a mechanic who diagnosed the problem diesel in the fuel tank. denine showed us her receipt, indicating she paid for regular gas at pump four on june 28th. that's the same day bethany fowler says she got regular gas from the same pump at the alliance station. i went to go start my car. it shook a lot and then died on me. her mechanic told her contaminated gas may have caused the problem. an expensive one to fix. the total repairs were a little over $4,300 to the mechanic.
