maricopa county's ballot printer got the names of 1 million people on the permanent early voter list on july 9. ballots mailed to homes august 3, last wednesday. voter who change registration information between the time the printer got the voter list and the voter registration deadline august 1 would get a second ballot. the first one would be it won't count. you might not realize you changed your voter information or you would get another ballot. now that you have two ballots how do you know which one to send in? remember what i said about the first one disabled, how do you know which one is the first one? the answer on the green return envelope. look under the bar code at the long number. then look at the last two digits. this envelope says 0 1 which means it was the first ballot sent out and won't be counted. that is the one to send in. i want to make clear there is no screwup like we saw during the presidential primary. it is another case where the system makes sense to the people who run the elections, not to the people who vote in them, all of us. you can learn more including
