this was designed by mary coulter. and we got a sequence of elevations and aspects of the bright angel lodge prior it to being built. these date from late 1933. it's just fun. they show the attention to detail that the fred harvey company allowed coulter to get away with. and you can watch the buildings evolve as you move from one image to the next. so you can see the intellectual thought process going on of what was happening with the images. and looking at them, you can see this real mixed media of adobe and big wood and timber being mixed together to create this southwestern architecture. so that's this material. you know, pull down these blueprints. it's a very special place. this is -- these are reprints of the hotel in winslow, arizona. and this is a holy mary coulter designed facility. she did the grounds. she did the buildings. she did the rooms. she did the doors. she did all of the elements of this hotel. but this project was one if not the very last of the grand hotel railroad hotels that begin with cost mad
