it is starting to move just a bit as we look at some rain covering sonoma and in marin countys. it's starting to edge into napa counties. we have seen light rain in some of those areas. this is the past several hours. the rain has been streaming from the north bay into far northern california and then looking at the coastline we still have those waves churning up in ocean beach and our temperatures are cool, mostly cloudy skies and 58. we have a nice little breeze kicking up in the east bay. this is a live look outside in fremont at 880. our temperatures will be in the mid-60s. we start to see our chain chances going up the rest of the day. by 3:00 a solid chance of seeing some scattered showers. those rain chances continue into the evening. looking at how much rain we have measured so far, ukiah 0.75 inch of rain, lakeport 0.25 inches. in santa rosa 0.04 inch. and then basically nothing south of there. so as we go into the rest of the day, this will slowly make its way into the san francisco area over towards oakland and then into the peninsula by 4:00 to 5:00. but notice that t

we're already starting to see that rain moving in to the north bay for marin to sonoma counties.s still dry in napa and solano counties but we will start to see rain moving in over the next 230-to 40 minutes. we'll be under a microclimate weather alert for the north bay, where we see the rain falling. the longest amount of time we will add up on more of the rainfall totals so we're looking at over a half inch of rain in some areas. overall it looks like a fairly light amount of rain, even though we see it coming off and on throughout the day, as we go in to the 2:00 hour, still some heavy rain at times in the north bay, while it's lighter in san francisco and areas to the south. so off and on rain expected throughout today and a few spotty light showers tomorrow morning. overall, the trend will be for to us dry out and we will see in some spots some higher rainfall totals, and some more sierra snow. this is the snow we're expecting for the weekend, about four to six inches, mostly above 6,000 feet. look at what happens next week, as a new storm comes in. we could be looking at so

not bad out of marin county now.e had earlier morning roadwork at the north end of the golden gate bridge. but looks like that's been wrapped up. we are not seeing major delays now south 101 from san rafael heading into the city. looks like about 12 to 13 minutes drive time. metering lights are on at the bay bridge. you are backed up almost to the maze at this point so a slow ride starting to see delays on some of our approaches, that includes the eastshore freeway coming out of emeryville and 580 westbound into oakland. so westbound 80 highway 4 to the maze 22 minutes. we have some brake lights as well as you work your way through the altamont pass, 37 minutes that's your drive time to go from 205 to 680. just a heads up, highway 4 a little sluggish, as well. so here's a better look at 580. you can see slow out of tracy. gets a lot better past north flynn and then a few brake lights as you work your way onto that 680 connector tomorrow and highway 4 a stalled vehicle near willow pass and slow thruway point. let's ch
