marin county firefighters will discuss what happened in maui and also what's being done in marin county to lower the risk of wildfires and keep people safe, fearing fires or other natural disasters. there are renewed efforts to restore warning sirens in the city of san francisco. as we reported last week, they have not sounded in years. but that's not the only city without those loud warnings. ktvu investigative reporter brooks jarocz has been digging into this for us and he joins us now live in the newsroom. brooke san francisco may have working sirens as soon as next year. well, it is possible. when i asked the department of emergency management about sirens last week, a spokesperson said funding wasn't available with the pandemic. the city admits sirens weren't high in the priority list. but now the board of supervisors president tells me funding has been found. and you may not hear them, but you can still see them. it's not a want to have. it's a need to have 119 emergency warning sirens in san francisco. they've stood silent for four years. but that may soon change. the wildfire in

so, marin county does have a lot of places to eat.t does have a lot of places where you can get a burger or almost anything. and so if you come to nevada, this town does have it all. i think i've discovered why they call it dr. insomniac's. this is a good, strong cup of coffee. it's a muffin and a scone combined, soft inside crust on the outside . different flavors. we usually do the pumpkin. we come here every sunday to get a skupin. so you could spend the rest of your life on the street and be happy, well-fed and happy. i had the salmon benedict. was it good? it was delicious. should i get it? you should get it. and i'm emulsifying. yeah. mimosa flight. yes you have to get memo. now you're talking. you can do what you do inside. outside with food and beverage and hospitality in general. i think that's a good thing. oh, you look good. i got out of my hair. you're a cleaner eater than i am. the wife always crowns me about the way i eat. yeah. messy eaters, clean eaters. it doesn't matter. you see, chuck over there is making the food.
