tonight, three people are in custody, "fox5" marina marraco is live with the latest. marina, what happened. >> shawn, we're learning police believe this may have been a drug deal gone wrong and neighbors on dale drive called police after hearing shots fired 4:30 this afternoon. we're off coalsville road. a few blocks north of downtown silver spring and incredibly no one was injured because you'll see that single bullet tht pierced the windshield of that black vehicle right on the driver's side of the car. police believe that was involved in some sort of illegal activity. they cannot say what exactly just now. and now, neighbors say there was a police chase that ended right here on the corner of dale and king'sburgee drive and also a second scene connected to the shoolting a few blocks south on silver here live this is where it all wept down and where those arrests took place. tonight, police credit numerous misses e witnesses with helping them pinpoint the suspects a total of three suspects in custody rights now. they're being questioned by police. and montgomery count

fox5's marina marraco is live in capitol heights maryland with more. rina. >> reporter: yeah, tony, this man had been a substitute teacher here at bradbury heights elementary school for the past nine years. he was also a local basketball coach. he was a coach at south county sports academy. this is 34-year-old christopher speights. the investigation began back in december of last year when the online cloud service drop box notified maryland state police of the content of his particular server. investigators say speights' drop box account was saturated with child pornography. now, we've poured through the arrest warrant and the descriptions of the video simply too graphic and explicit to share here but prince george's county public schools releasing a statement in the last hour saying "pgcps is teacher christopher speights has been arrested. we will that cooperate fully with law enforcement in its investigation. due to the nature of the claims, christopher speights will no longer serve the school district. any behavior that brings harm to a child will no

fox 5 marina marraco has more. >> reporter: you're seeing right behind me crews stepping down from that ladder. the relief just came in. so we're going into 13th, 14th hour battling. you see two ladders on top of this building still trying to put out the hot spots that remain but this started as a two alarm fire earlier this morning. according crews on the scene, they told fox 5 it appears to have started at a construction dumpster in one of the higher flyers. and because the interior of this building was built with wood, that fire spreading incredibly fast. and by 2:00 this afternoon, it was a five alarm specials, meaning it was virtually off the scale more than 200 fire apparatus out here, called in and you'll see pictures here from skyfox. the center of this courtyard made this blaze incredibly difficult to tackle for these crews because they had so many issues accessing this building from all different parents of it. especially the back of this building where they could not set up any of their ladders. you see the plume of smoke there. the air quality is so poor umd cancelled classe
