marla tellez could do that backwards with her eyes closed. go giants! >>> we have a consumer warning this morning for shoppers of barnes&noble. they say their pin pads were hacked at dozens of store, some in the bay area. arturo santiago is live with how customers' information was swiped. arturo, good morning. >> reporter: barnes&noble says it is a sophisticated effort to steal the information of its customers. the company is advising anyone who used a card at their stores to change their pins and also to look for any unauthorized transactions. the barnes & noble is one of 63 stores across the country to have one of its pinpads compromised. only one device in each store was hacked. the criminals planted bugs in the affected pin pads to allow them to obtain pins and credit card numbers. barnes & noble stopped using the pin pads at all the nearly 700 stores nationwide and that happened on september 14th. there have been some cases in which information was stolen and used to make unauthorized purchases. some of the customers we talked to are hesitant to us

marla tellez joins us now live on the phone along the san mateo coast. e efforts out there. marla, good morning. >> reporter: jon, good morning. officials say their boat capsized about one mile offshore from pigeon point light house which is about 20 miles south of half moon bay which is where we're coming to you live from this morning. for the most part the search has been suspended overnight but the coast guard is expected to launch its helicopter and plane at daybreak today. officials say 46-year-old king yow sang is one of the missing men. he and three friends took off from san francisco in their 23-foot fishing boat about 5:30 yesterday morning. mid-morning their boat capsized after getting hit pby a powerfu wave sending all four into the chilly waters. two of the men were wearing life vests and were able to swim to shore to get help. sang and the other friend were not and this morning they are still missing. both are from san francisco. i spoke to his sister on the phone this morning. she says sang is an avid fisherman and knows what he's doing. >>
