as you can see on the bottom of your screen, that is a maroon sedan. the news just breaking a few minutes ago that this accident of some sort, we don't know if it's an accident or intentional. we have no details on that, but we do know that multiple eyewitnesses are reporting that this car drove up onto the sidewalk and a very busy and populated times square. it is now hoisted against a pole on the sidewalk. multiple pedestrians were mowed down in this incident. 13 people are being treated for injuries after all of this. no word yet on what is happening with the driver of this vehicle. again, if it was intentional or an accident, we are waiting on reporting to come out of the scene. right now, eyewitness accounts do say that the car was driving and the opposite direction of traffic. it could be an accident, we don't know. emergency vehicles and personnel are blocking off the entire area of times square they are. you can see fire trucks, ambulances are present. as we were just reminded, this is an extreme the busy time of day in new york city. the noon
