marten. the storm has caused three deaths in this caribbean. irma is now nearing puerto rico. dpl it >> it's a monster storm. look at the eye on this storm. it's crossing north of san juan, puerto rico. it battled the northern virgin islandss. it's extremely dangerous storm. expected to cause potentially catastrophic damage. it's a cat 5. you can see here it's packing maximum sustained winds of 185 miles an hour noufing to the west northwest. the biggest threat will be storm surge. 6 to 12 inches of rain. possibly up to 20 inches causing flash flooding and mudslide. it's a threat to the florida area by sunday afternoon as category 4. 145 miles an hour winds. by monday it's 120 miles an hour winds but this storm is going to impact the east coast for days. hurricane irma is not the only hurricane. we have jose gaining strength. we also have hurricane katia. this one is expected to hit vera cruz. dan. >>> the airlines are being pro-active allowing people to reschedule their flights in anticipation of hurricane irma arriving in florida. >> reporter: these people were in a sense my
