i'm marty gonzalez. you are taking a look at storm tracker four. we are expecting rain to hit the bay area later today. meteorologist dave spahr has more. a live look from our embrcadero cam shows... good morning. i'm marty gonzalez. thanks for joining us this morning. let's get the forecast from dave spahr. (dave spahr)a weak weather system will spread light rain across the north bay this afternoon and across most of the remainder of the forecast area this evening and overnight. showers will mostly end by monday morning. expect decreasing clouds on monday with brisk afternoon and evening northwest winds. high pressure will then produce dry weather through midweek, along with a warming trend. shower chances will return to northern and eastern portions of our region wednesday night and thursday as a weather system drops inland to our east. temporary cooling and blustery conditions are also expected with this system. i'm marty gonzalez. here is dave spahr with today's forecast.. scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast today. in addition, gusty west winds will usher in a much cooler airmass and snow levels will be as low as 2000 feet. showers will taper off tonight and monday. dry conditions are likely to return to most areas by late monday and then continue through at least thursday. daytime temperatures will warm above normal by midweek. rain chances return in the north bay by late friday and to most areas by next weekend. and with this latest storm in the bay area. the anderson reservoir is now at 99 percent capacity this morning. and again there is serious concern that with the ongoing rain, it might spill over. we will continue to monitor conditions in the south bay our team coverage of the rain continues this morning. let's head to the east bay... kron four's ella sogomonian shows us some of the conditions in berkeley. just when we thought it was over - the rain has come upon us once again.it's in the low 50s right now we had a few beau

( marty @ landing ) breaking overnight... the chp has reopened all lanes this morning after a body was found on interstate 280 in san francisco. the body was first reported at about 11 last night just south of the alemany boulevard onramp. no other information is available at this time. all northbound lanes of the highway were blocked for about two hours as crews worked the scene. we'll bring you more information as it enters our newsroom.
