fox5's matt ackland reports.kl >>reporter: this all happened h last friday morning. we're told two men came here to the credits, ran straight for the pharmacy. p they jumped the counter and apparently told the pharmacistas open my instinct was making sure everyone was safe. joe important situate said he couldn't watch while two men invaded his store looking for drugs. i immediately ran downstairs, i told the cashiers to call 911 that the store was being robbed. he then confronted the store whw were trying to leave afterter stealing prescription drugs. he said one of them had this h screwdriver as we were passingwe through the aisle, the one tried to hit me with the screwdriver and i kind of blocked it. i i met him at the front door d because it didn't open and that's kind of where the main m struggle happened. i ended up disarming the one o gave his screwdriver.c the two suspects ended getting away. not long after joe's boss arrived with bad news. n due to the action that i did they had to terminate my employment effective 5:00 p.m. that day.that we asked cv about it
