good evening, thank you for joining us, i'm lauren demarco and i'm matt ackland. a university of maryland student is behind bars tonight accused of an on campus murder. he was arrested early this morning after investigators say he stabbed a student visiting from bowie state university. police say the attack was random and unprovoked. fox5's lindsay watts is live the at college park tonight with the latest. lindsay? >>reporter: matt and lauren, it happened here on regents drive right off of the main drag of campus. police say about three in the morning the victim and two of his friends were out here waiting for an yub we are when a stranger approached and out of nowhere stabbed the victim. that suspect didn't get far. police tell me that he was arrested over at this bus stop. a shocking crime as students finish out the school year. i've been here for four years and it's the first time i've happening. on commencement weekend university of maryland students woke up to a crime scene and an e-mail moat phiing them of a murder on campus, the suspect, a fellow student. i
