our reporter, matt keller, is near the scene. matt, what happened? >> yes we are here at the palo alto station and we will get do what happened in a moment. we just heard an announcement that there is a two-hour delay for one train. many trains are facing severe delays. right now they expect service to get back to normal this afternoon and hopefully on time for the evening. now, what happened this morning, a tragic morning. caltrain spokesman said that about 6ton 25 a person stepped in front of an express baby bullet train .1 meeting south of churchill avenue near the campus of appeal high school. the train left san jose 15 minutes earlier and headed to san francisco. the tracks in both directions were shut down for an hour. the victim was a 15-year-old boy attended palo alto high school. the suicide among young people has been a major issue in the city over the past few years. for all of last year caltrain reported eight fatalities mostly suicides. we are only a quarter of the way through the year and eight have been killed with 15 believed suicides

our reporter matt keller is gathering new information on the scene. matt?ten, this was a shoot that took place at 3:40 this morning right in front of this home of the victim who is described as 22-year-old the he has three gun wounds: the face, the abdomen and heart. he and his friends were drinking outside, a car pulled up two people got out, an argument took place and shots were fire. >> the victim and the friends were on a bench in front of the apartment complex. after the shooting, i am not sure how the victim may have been moved but he may have been moved or staggered away from the bench area few of the bench. the shooters were wearing all black and hats driving a silver sedan one of several shootings in san jose most recently last night and anotherring a burger king at white. homicide detectives are speaking with the suspects taken into custody after a high speed chase from san jose to pleasanton so the homicide detectives are on stand by and the victim in this case is currently in surgery. >>> new video from overnight of roadway flooding along doyle

i'm matt keller. tonight a search is underway for a uc berkeley soccer player missing in southern california. eloi vasquez went to marin academy in san rafael. his family is in los angeles helping authorities try to find him. we're live from berkeley with what they know. >> reporter: eloi vasquez is a freshman midfielder on the uc berkeley soccer team, and on friday he drove down with teammates, who hey friends at usc. that night he went to a fraternity party at at around 1:00 in the morning his cousin told me vasquez tried to talk his friends into running to the beach but they told him no. the beach is 15 miles away. vasquez decided to leave the party on his own, and a short time later he made a phone call to his friend in berkeley. he said he was lost, alone, worried and needed her help. she told him to reach out to his friends who were with him at the party. at 2:15 in the morning he called her again repeating the same story mentioning something bat beach. that's that last time anyone heard from va

matt keller is at the scene. what is going on matt? where the car chase ended and the foot chase began. there are several law enforcement agencies including sunnyvale and santa clara and the sheriff and police department starting at tully road at east san jose near the santa clara fair grounds a man was carjacked by to men. they used a gun. police were able to track the car and found it in san jose and that is when a chase ensued from 280 to 8 a and ended up in sunnyvale adjacent to highway 85. they ran into a deadend and that when they jumped out and ran into a waters' way that runs parallel to 85 and into a culvert. a handgun was found. the lieutenant with san jose police department joins us. where do you believe the suspects are? >> they my be either in the culvert or densely brush creek area. >> how are you trying to get to them? we heard reports of manhole covers being removed. >> we think they could be in a piping culvert system so we are trying to find a safe way to fine the suspect or get them to surrender. >> this is a huge pe

i'm matt keller.nderway for a uc berkeley soccer player missing in southern california. eloi vasquez went to marin academy in san rafael. his family is in los angeles helping authorities try to find him. we're live from berkeley with what they know. >> reporter: eloi vasquez is a freshman midfielder on the uc berkeley soccer team, and on friday he drove down with teammates, who hey friends at usc. that night he went to a fraternity party at at around 1:00 in the morning his cousin told me vasquez tried to talk his friends into running to the beach but they told him no. the beach is 15 miles away. vasquez decided to leave the party on his own, and a short time later he made a phone call to his friend in berkeley. he said he was lost, alone, worried and needed her help. she told him to reach out to his friends who were with him at the party. at 2:15 in the morning he called her again repeating the same story mentioning something bat beach. that's that last time anyone heard from vasquez. his parents dro

our reporter matt keller on the scene. matt?this is where the investigation is taking place in front of the apartment complex with the victim and two friends out here drinking when a car drove up at 3:40. >> two suspects wearing all black and wearing a black hat and wearing black bandannas drove up to the scene became involved in a disturbance with the three male adults in prompt and during the course of that conflict a gun was produced and the victim was shot three times. >> here is video of the ambulance leaving with the victim. the 22-year-old man was wounded to his face abdomen and heart. no suspects are in custody. this is one of several shootings recently in san jose. most recently one last might and another on saturday and a homicide on oak street on saturday morning. detectives are speaking where five suspects in two shootings taken into custody after a high speed chase from san jose to pleasanton and the homicide detectives are on stand by as the victim in this case is currently in surgery with life threatening injuries

matt keller is live near san francisco and van nuys. >> reporter: a handful of teamsters have arrived5 minutes or so. they will be rollieing for bower transportation. they want to unionize the drivers. they've been successful at two other shuttle companies in the bay area. aers a protest at apple headquarters. transportation contracted by tech companies like apple yahoo! ebay cigna and genetech. next day they decided to join the teamsters. apple announced it will be giving shuttle with us drivers. in addition people who work a split shift, requires them to drive around morning and night will earn a higher hourly wage. this is an increase in pay. teamsters are take aim today. they will be in union jackets will signs teamsters hope the board of supervisors will pass a new resolution later this month, urging the san francisco metropolitan transportation agency to take into consideration the relationship between employers and drivers to participate in the commuter shuttle program. the teamsters plan to be out here until 9:00 this morning. >> thank you. >>> happening today, the man accused
