matt breen. a business man from yankton, south dakota will challenge republican senator john thune in the november election for u-s senate. (sheila) the south dakota democratic party introduced jay williams today at an event in sioux falls. the 65-year-old is the founder of a yankton-based software development company. he served on the yankton school board from 2011 through 2014. climate change and income inequality. he says thune is too established in washington, and south dakota needs a "fresh" perspective going forward.
