a day after governor terry mcauliffe ordered all alcohol beverage agents to be retrained. northern virginia bureau chief jeff goldberg is live in charlottesville now with what came out of this quick hearing this morning. jeff? jeff: certainly was. the hearing only lasting two minutes. both the defense and the prosecution agreeing to delay the case until may 28th at which point they believe the investigation by virginia state police will be complete in this matter. now, martese johnson did not speak before or after the hearing today. however, many u.v.a. students did attend court today wearing black saying it was in solidarity with martese who was a 20-year-old third year student at u.v.a. from chicago. today's hearing follows the incident early last wednesday morning when video captured abc officers holding johnson to the ground. his face bloodied after he was denied entrance to a bar in charlottesville. he was later charged with public intoxication and swearing and obstruction of justice although tests showed johnson was not drunk and witnesses say he was not beligerent.
