[laughter] i also want to pay tribute hr mcmaster.s at lunch with regards to the strategy and thinks we have to look at in today's world. looking at a world, at least in my experience i have not seen this many flashpoints in the world, probably since world war ii. when you consider providing a warrant terrorism. you have failed states of the middle east, redoing with iran and north korea in russia, dealing with the battlefield of the future which is cyber. also the potential for a cyber attack that could paralyze the country. the reality is, you cannot deal's crisis a good intelligence. that is the bottom line. if you don't have good intelligence you cannot conduct effective military operations, and you cannot implement effective diplomatic resolutions. you need to know what you're talking about. you need to know what you will see in trying to implement the mission. intelligence is critical. were living in a time where intelligence is absolutely critical. also the relationship between intelligence and the military. that partnership is
