doug: i'm doug meehan. strong winds out there. kelly ann: nothing compared to yesterday. our live camera is just a bit shaky all show we see beautiful blue skies. it's chilly. we have temperatures in the 30's. the wind chill down into the upper 20's. although those winds are calmer, that wind-chill factor is something to consider even this afternoon as our temperatures top out in the 40's. it's goi for many spots. right now our wind chills are upper 20's along much of the coast. they'll slowly warm up later today. staying on the cooler end of the scale. this is where our winds are pulling in from. afghanistan. antoinette: the taliban claiming responsibility for a deadly explosion as a u.s. air base. four people are dead, more than a dozen others are injured after the blast on bagram air field this morning. local media reports a man dressed as a worker managed to get on that heavily guarded base and then set off a suicide vest. bagram is the largest u.s. military facility in afghanistan. protests and policy

the eyeopener's doug meehan is in lawrence this morning tracking the >> randy and emily good morning. investigates identifying that woman late last night but they are holding off on releasing it to the public until the family can be notified. now the body of the woman was discovered yesterday. outside of a back entrance to the rita hall apartments. newscenter 5's jorge quroga gave that cripghts to a victim of a plan who came to the scene. been missing the entire day. they believe the victim died between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m. yesterday morning. police are calling the death suspicious. randy: two people are fighting for their lives. they were caught in a street in woburn when it happened. let's go out to sera congi. she is there at the scene with sera: the two friends are from boston, and they were visiting woburn near city hall when they were hit. take a look. it happened at 7:00 on commons street. the two people, a 67-year-old woman and 70-year-old man hit by a septic tank truck. both are in the hospital now with critical injuries. police tell us what happened just before the crash. >> t

we're live in boston, doug meehan, wcvb newscenter 5. randy: doug, thank you. it's not cle this crash in the city of brockton was seriously hurt. we're told the woman was taken to the hospital after hitting a utility pole on belair street. it happened around 9:30 last night. police have not said what caused the crash or if the driver will be facing any charges. there were no reports of power outages after the crash. emily: an investigation underway in brockton after a woman was attacked sunday morning. the victim called for help saying she was stabbed at her police later figured out she'd been hit with a lamp. they're still looking for the person responsible. randy: new information in the beating death of a woman in the city of lowell. the "lowell sun" is reporting an autopsy shows that gloribel orengo died of a ruptured aorta. an injury consistent with being run over by a vehicle. police say orengo was involved in a fight outside a party earlier this month. a woman has been arrested accused of beating the victim and being a passenger in a car that may have run
