cbs 2's meg baker shows us what happened. >> reporter: you can see in this surveillance video it was a wet rainy night in bushwick, brooklyn. a woman carrying her groceries home on bleaker street towards irving avenue jumped from behind by two men. >> she told me the other day around the corner from here two skinny guys, i don't know. >> reporter: we spoke to the woman's neighbor who saw her right after the attack that 27th, around 7 p.m. he says she was shaken but luckily unharmed. he can't believe this happened only steps from their apartment building. the video shows the two men throw the 45-year-old woman to the ground stealing her bag with $600 in it. the men ran off towards irving avenue. police say the suspects not only grabbed for her purse, but grabbed at her neck looking to rim off any jewelry she was wear -- rip off any jewelry she was wearing. >> a couple weeks ago there was a shooting right here on nickerbacher avenue. you just got to be careful. if you're walking at night, walk with somebody else. >> reporter: collin mallory says he sees nypd circling the area a lot. >>
