megan pringle is out live this morning getting ready for the sailabration, give us a wave megan. there she is. there she is. we begin this thursday morning with breaking news right now out of anne arundel county. word just after 1:30 this morning of a crash involving a wrong way driver and right now one person is dead. this along i-97 in millersville and abc2 news sherrie johnson is live with all new detail this is morning. >> reporter: we are here in anne arundel county. about a mile away from the crash site. the cash happened about 1:30 this morning. and it happened at the intersection of i-97 and ben field road. and yes, maryland state police tell us that one of the drivers may have been going in the wrong direction. of course, authorities are still on the scene at this hour, you know trying to figure out exactly what happened here this morning. but they said it was a hyundai and a honda and one of them might have been going the wrong way and crashed into the other one. one driver was pronounced dead at the scene. the other one they took him to shock trauma. he's in pretty bad

i am megan pringle. we will start with a look at traffic because lauren cook is standing by with a lot of stuff to tell you about how the conditions are on the roads. >> reporter: yeah. maryland state police are investigating a very serious crash on interstate 70. it happened around 1:15 this morning. the westbound lanes have reopened and they were shut down for several hours at route 32. you want to expect delays in the area. and we are waiting on a call back from the police department for more information as to how many people have been injured. we know that three cars were involved. so stay with us. we will bring you more information as it does develop. 95 good news a crash clear from the southbound lanes at eastern avenue. and as we check in and look live at the top side of the beltway in towson at york road, everything will be up to speed. on that outer loop looking at an 11 minute ride from 95 all the way up to 83. and west side will be
