see you then. >> now to a story out of robbinsville mercer county that is tugging at the heart stringsoes are honoring and saluting war heroes and where paying it forward is paid forward once again. it's a night police sergeant thomas eagen to the back left right here calls one of the most rewarding shifts of his career. this is eagen and three other officers who are part of this story that's so special it's being shared over and over again on social media. the story ended here at the hampton inn and sweets in robbinsville but it startd when a 92-year-old world war ii vet oscar took a wrong turn and found himself in someone's drive way. it was dark and oscar asked if he could sleep in his car overnight 'cause he's not the best driver. well the couple who owned the home offered to have him sleep in their guest room but he turned them down so these officers here offered to put him up at the hampton inn and suite on them. they even gave him a ride there and. enter receptionist nicole who told her manager carmen about the officers offering to pay for the room out of pocket. so carmen paid
