yesterday was the first day of meteorological fall, and it felt like it with a chilly ne breeze to 25 mph keeping temps in the 60s and lower 70s. this morning was mostly clear and cool with lows near 60 along inland areas. today is mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the low to mid 70s, low humidity, and a light easterly breeze. tonight is another clear and chilly night with lows in the 50s and a calm wind. classes canceled today at messmer prep because of a fire. an alarm sounded in the school just before seven this morning. a fire was in the wall in the ceiling.it was extinguish but since officials had to shut down power-- the principal made the decision to cancel classes.no one was in the building at the time of the fire. a school bus caught fire this milwaukee. we're told everyone made it off the bus and no one was injured.no word yet on what caused the bus to catch fire or how much damage it caused. one person is seriously hurt after a major crash on northbound 7-94 at oklahoma avenue.witnesses say they heard screaming and the truck flew off 7-94, landing on oklahoma avenue.
