if you look at the mgm, the loggia, they have reopened with about one third of their hotels.d,the numbers look they are low numbers. about 50% of vegas receipts come from air travel. about 50% is a drive-through about 50 percent coming from california since it is a 3 hour drive. 50% of their revenue is entertainment, whether it is or foodion performing, and beverage. they get revenue from entertainment and food and beverage. it is not conducive when you have covid-19. they have reopened, they have rooms, so, receipts per gaming location look ok, but it is only a small portion of the hotels that are open. the hotel sector that looks better and the gaming sector that looks better is some of the regional markets like or connecticut gaming industry. the environment is fraught and troubled. it has been for a long time. we are heading towards an election. how are you thinking about how the environment is changing politically and what opportunities that might represent? is novemberlection 3, let's all get out and vote. predicted -- it is looking favorably in being a bookmaker site.

in the years i've covered casinos and gaming, there is a difference between, say las vegas sands and mgmsus a penn national gaming what can we look at in terms of who the outperformers will be given what we know and don't know about the covid-19 situation right now? >> it is a good question very good question, the key question when we look at regional markets, what we know is more than 80% of the revenue they generate comes from the gaming floor. of that, more than 80% is driven by slot machine revenue. much different from what we see in las vegas where less than half the revenue is coming from the gaming floor and so much is coming from restaurants, entertainment, big groups and conventions that come to town. the implication of that is that the regional markets which we point to which we have been positive on since the outbreak began are people who typically drape within an hour and make very regular visits. their spending patterns tend to be very regular. they get more than 75% of the revenue from 25% of the customers. while only part of the floors are open, they are making sure that 2
