last night, neil armstrong, buzz aldrin and michael collins were here at the air museum.d in front of that module. we have a copy of that photo. there was a large crowd at the museum last night. thousands of people. many were lucky enough to get a ticket to hear the three astronauts speak. now, strangely enough, they didn't focus on the lun landing. they talked more about the future of the space program. neil armstrong, for example, only talked about the lunar landing for about 11 seconds. instead, the three astronauts focused on going to mars. they're urging nasa not to go back to the moon but to go to mars instead. buzz aldrin, however, did talk about the apollo 11 mission a little bit more. talked about the importance of it. apollo 11 was about exploration, about taking risks for great rewards in science and engineering, about setting an ambitious goal before the world and then finding the political will and the national means to achieve it. >> reporter: armstrong, aldrin and collins will be meeting with president barack obama in the oval office later on today at 2:00.
