michelle lei's family was here and talked with investigators. they say they're holding on to hope that she's okay. >> supposed to get lunch tomorrow and -- there's still hope she's still out there. we just need help finding her. anyone who can help in san diego or the bay, please help. >> reporter: christine is desperate to hear from her cousin, michelle lei. the nursing student was last seen friday night. she was in class doing clinical rotations at the kaiser medical center. during a break around 7:00 she told a classmate she was going to her car and she grabbed her cell phone and keys and went to the north parking lot and never returned. police found her white honda several blocks away on saturday morning. >> i love her and i even came to the parking lot just to get some sort of piece of her. she's out there, she's safe, i hope. i pray to god every second that she's safe. >> reporter: investigators are looking through security video searching her car and reviewing her cell phone records. while they follow-up leads an unsolved murder case in f
