i know these frustrations are not unique to michigan. i did see stories from across the country on the national news. similar situation where unemployment offices have just been overwhelmed by the need. here is what i can tell you is we had a 5000% increase in the last four weeks. 25,000 unemployed michigan workers, and we have seen $745 million in payments. we have been able to get a lot of payments out. the few states to begin the additional $600 in federal payments. those people that are already on unemployment, 350,000 have gotten this as well. we have begun accepting applications for self-employed workers, a group that was not traditionally included which we wanted to make sure they were. those federal payments will begin on april 20. and there is more than 200,000 of these workers. an estimated 95% of all potential claimants have access to this system with more than 90% filing online. we've extended our call center times and quadruple the number of staff. when you have 5000% increase, quadrupling staff is a big step but it is not 5

that's right i don't know usually a michigan michigan almost becomes the center point of the most ludicrous rules and then we see in new york by the way that new york has just announced it will begin cleaning that subways between 1 am and 5 am every day you know why that is because they've become now the place for homeless people to sleep in new york there are apparently enormous numbers of homeless people who are just kind of taken over the subways there because people are riding them and they're sleeping in them so the city is now trying to find a way to move those people out they claim they need to clean them every day between 1 am and 5 am even though nobody's right by the way back to michigan the governor just came out and said she's now going to allow people to hire people to cut their law and because originally that was considered landscaping was non-essential which means people screw people landscaping on their gravel just growing you know yards i . yeah it's michigan is the worst case scenario in terms of government overreach and it's why a lot of people are speculating that gretch
