this is a federal court out of michigan. only three of these nine trump lawyers practiced solely in michigan, but this broad sanctions and potential disbarment order from this federal judge reaches out and hits all nine of these trump lawyers in jurisdictions all across the country. a judge ruling that a lawyer should be referred to his or her home state bar association and disciplinary authorities for potential disbarment, this is a rare and extreme measure. judges do this very, very rarely. in this case the judge did it for all nine of the trump lawyers under consideration in this case. and what this is is the fallout from a lawsuit these trump lawyers did file after the election in federal court in michigan. their lawsuit basically demanded that michigan should be forced to give its electoral college votes to trump, even though biden won michigan and that result had already been certified. a federal judge dismissed that case soon after it was filed. it never had a prayer. but the state of michigan and the city of detroit

one of the books is called a fascination of a michigan king and university of michigan press and i just was one of the things that i realized usually my brain works slowly but one of the things i realized quickly in the book project is i saw him as a lightning rod for all the weird religious enthusiasms and political enthusiasms and just the strange power of the antebellum era which is a very unstable era and slowly, i came to see the antebellum era is comparable to that. so trump is an in the book and there's no mention of 20/20 in the book but people are reading it in a certain way as an allegory for our which is not something idislike . i definitely didn't want, i amy, you would slap me if i said these two periods are alike, that's a big mistake historically and rationally but i do think that we can learn from other times and i definitely like all i into the idea of the liberal arts letting us see our own period through the past. so the book was a blast to write in that way and writing in the trump hero which is what i did . i started about the time off from's campaign. the book took
