here is mike inouye. >> got new information about a new crash north 880.e have slowing at the coliseum. there is the high street off ramp. just flaft we have a crash. i can't see with it the familiar ra but involving three vehicles from what i understand. blocking the fast lane. north past the coliseum. this is the second crash because look at the map. we're talking north of there. i was concerned about this into downtown. the crash involving a recycling truck. we have a slow drive, that's in the middle lanes blocking you down. there is a slow drive, another into downtown. this stretch for northbound 880 an issue as they have yet to clear those. if you can use the alternate i'd suggest that because it's going to be tied up for the morning probably being a traffic tuesday. the heavy volume starting to kick in. westbound 24, westbound 80, those both move according to your tuesday. the metering lights are on and the backup continues there. let's look at speeds throughout the north bay. folks there, southbound 101 not a problem. it is west 37 over from vallejo

i want to bring in our own mike inouye. he is snow stranger to the big red dog. are you, mike. >> no. we skied that about the same time i was reading about clifford the big red dog we'd go skiing where they used to have a ski jump there from the olympics back in 1960. it was a big deal when my dad let me ski that. this is 580 through dublin. now a much clearer roadway. we had what saunds like a scary crash. so much traffic. they moved that out of the roadway and no major injuries but i'm tracking this. so far we do have the backup here. the lanes are clear, the map will show you you're jammed up where the crash happened. look at all of this backup, out of the altamont pass. they have been on the weak side of the crash. you get toward tahoe and heading eastbound, bring those changes, bob is up there so he's got you beat. oakland, the orange shows you there may be some clouds and maybe some fog. so that's an issue toward the bay bridge. these in the green zone and no backup at the bay bridge as you travel down and through the east bay no. problem as you see on this

mike inouye, good morning. >> good morning. looking over to the folks getting to work. this is the bay bridge toll plaza, metering lights on. metering lights working as well. slowdown for all lanes. backing up filling in the toll plaza but you see good movement in all lanes including cash lanes at bottom of the screen. that indicates lighter flow of traffic. we're looking toward the maps. a smooth flow down east shore freeway. maze slowing down. north 880 slowing off the 880 overcrossing through down ton. early slowing for that. smooth flow through the tri-valley, developing slowdowns for livermore, out of the altamont pass and look at bottom of the screen, southbound 680 early slowing but holding steady coming in towards sunol, might be because of rain and slicker conditions in that area. it continues for the build. here in the south bay, an issue as well. passed by one of the shots, fremont, a fire you've been talking about. wanted to mention 238, mission boulevard, traffic control, the sullivan overcrossing, the dip down underneath the railroad tracks through niles a

our traffic anchor mike inouye has more on that. mike. >> good morning, bob. hey, you know, we'll catch up with him. we have the san mateo bridge. we're look at the high rise over the high rise you might get 1/4 a gust or two of wind. chp, they did get caught. so they issued wind advisories for the two spans. there is 92, the area we showed with the live camera. bob's heading out to highway 84 at 35, that's basically in portola valley. a tree reported down across wires and bob will make his way but it's a windy road as you see from 84. we'll watch as the morning continues for reports of maybe rocks or debris or trees down as more folks hit the roads they can report what happened. the rest of the south bay and through the peninsula moves smoothly now. we don't have flooding reported but as more folks hit the road we're likely to see more. we see slowing for 87 but no problems on that stretch. back to you. >> it's a tough one. as the rains damaged roads, caused mudslides and floods streets and businesses across the bay area. in the north bay nearly four straight

right now let's check your drive, good morning to mike inouye. >> good morning.el the change in the air, we're looking at grayer skies in spots. clouds are drifting around. not a big deal right now. we can see fine as far as the deck. we also can see the traffic southbound 880, the earlier crash has cleared from the road. that's the good news. the bad news is we had another crash that occurred approaching that hagenberger off ramp. that truck drove away so that's good news. more slowing so we'll look at the map. south 880 out of downtown oakland by the coliseum on the map we have a slower drive, recovering heading south in toward 238 and the san mateo bridge which is starting to build as far as the volume goes. westbound 80 past 4 out of hercules we had a crash, pinole valley road the off ramp is clear and so is the roadway. folks head to the bay bridge toll plaza t metering lights are on. the toll plaza is full. in the north bay, through san rafael typical t orange shows you a chance of fog but not really a big issue. we'll show you the speeds through the area.

here's mike inouye. >> looking forward to thunder boomers, cool. east shore freeway, we don't want thunder or boom, boom on roadway. looking with taillights away, going over the overcrossing. parking lots on either side, roadways are dry but the rain is coming down into the area. so we'll watch that. at the top of the screen, green haze there. crash at albany approaching the area, i swung the camera around, didn't see it, but i'll still mark it until chp clears it out of there. richmond, you see green over the highlighting there, that's where the roadways may be slick. a mist, a drizzle, radar showed activity through the area. as far as camera showed, nothing dramatic. antioch as well, the westbound community that's moving to the left, the arrow marks the commute direction. coming off of the antioch bridge, the bridge has opened after the closures. road crews in the area are picking up early because they are expecting rain as it comes in as well. looking toward the dublin interchange, west 580. you have a crowd starting to build out of the altamont
