let's get straight to meteorologist mike nico, hi mike. >> hey jessica, hey everybody.talked about this about 24 hours ago that the storm was pushing towards a tendency for a three on the storm impact scale. sure enough, the gang last night, they upped it to a three. one to two inches in most areas from this strong storm on our storm impact scale. two to four in the hills and mountains. flooding the great concern is across the north bay and wind gusts could get up to 50 miles per hour. minor power outages possible. we're hours away from the fastest winds at 1:00 this afternoon until about 3:00 tomorrow morning. during the evening commute, those east, west bridges are going to be tough for high profile vehicles. flash flooding is starting at 4:00 this afternoon in the north bay through tomorrow at 3:00, that's where the scars, the burn scars could let go of mudslides. just scattered showers around the san mateo bridge, heading out towards livermore. moving well up to the north for now. it's going to make a march southward, when it does, it's going to bring heavy downpour

the peninsula humane society put the pups up for this is a cause near and dear to mike nico's heart.they had their big gala home for the holidays. yeah, they raised so much money and they take care of so many animals. i think it's like 6,300 a year. there are no kill shilter so they take everybody else's before that happens to those animals. so it's a very impressive organization with hundreds of volunteers and just honored to help raise about $8,000 to help a bigger picture but every little bit helps. very proud to be partners with them. they are one of our perfect pet partners. notice the winds blowing off the coast a little bit, that means we're starting off cool this morning but we will warm up significantly by the afternoon hours. bright and blue today with average highs, fewer stars, milder morning lows, tonight in the extended chances of light to moderate rain. we're going to go 60 at half-moon bay, 64 to 67 around the bay and 65 to 69 inland. lows tonight because of the cloud cover mid 40s to mid 50s so not as chilly as this morning. here we are tomorrow morning at 4:00 you s
