it's time now for the security brief with my colleagues christian fraser and mikey kay.ion of the security brief. a lot has happened since we last did this, some of which we had anticipated in the earlier editions of the security brief. the deterioration in northern gaza and that worsening situation in the jabalia refugee camp. the time that has passed between iran's ballistic missile attack and the subsequent israeli response. we told you two weeks ago it might be delayed until israel's missile defence supplies have been replenished. we've just seen this week the deployment with 100 us troops of an american high altitude anti—missile system known as thad. and that brings us to the other big story this week, hezbollah's surprise attack on a military base near haifa with a uav, a drone, four soldiers killed and dozens more injured with a drone that somehow penetrated the israeli defence system, one of the biggest attacks on an idf position in over a year of fighting with me to discuss. as ever, our resident analyst, former senior british officer mikey kay, who for 20 year

and the man who is going to help us do that is mikey kay.icer in the british military, he flew assault helicopters for 20 years. and he is going to run these briefings as he would do it for the military. we are going to star mikey with the iranians. we are going to start mikey with the iranians. the course of action or coa, that the iranians went for last night, the distances involved, the capability they have — what did you see? there is an incredible amount to digest and analyse. are the most important thing to look at first is as you pointed out is the map distance. the distances are not insignificant and if we look at this graphic, we can see the distances that we have between tehran, some of the major cities inside israel, tel aviv and jerusalem looking at 900, maybe five miles from tehran to tel aviv and hundred 70 970 miles. that allows us to assess what type of capabilities that iran has in terms of a missile threat. in the three main ballistic missile systems they pop out as you can see, the former commander, they have a range of 87
