we've got some mist and drizzle. some wind kicking up. not nearly as strong as the winds that we had come in yesterday. these are the gusts around nantucket. we had a gust of 58 miles per hour. edgartown over 50. falmouth as well. these are tropical storm force gusts. miles an hour closer into the city of boston. this is all courtesy of hermine, still spinning to our south by about 100 miles. the winds right now are about 65 miles an hour with this. notice what happens by this afternoon. the winds come down to around 60 and it starts tracking toward the west. it's moving a little farther away from us today, and then as we get toward tonight and tomorrow, starts to turn more northward. it's weakening more. that trend will continue wednesday night and kick out of our hair on thursday. is weakening. the lingering impacts will be weaker. wind gusts between 20 and 30 miles per hour. strongest along the coastline. a few showers, drizzle at times, but rough surf and a rip current risk at the beaches. keep that in mind. seas have come way down bu

some patchy mist and drizzle. you can see it showing up on the radar around the greater boston area. this is the case through most of the day as what's left of hermine still sitting here just about 100 miles to our south. but it is in the process of overall. the winds are going to be a little bit lighter. we're talking about gusts between 20 and 30 miles an hour on average. just a few showers from time to time. some drizzle as well. but at the beaches, still dealing with rough surf and a rip current with overall our waves not nearly as high as they were yesterday. they're about three to five feet just off the cape and down along the south coast still getting some waves six feet. but higher as you go to the west, because that's where hermine is headed. it's drifting toward the west right now. so if getting near the water today, i just want to let you know at the beaches we're talking about two to five-foot surf. water to the south, up to 10 feet. the rip current risk is going to remain high today, and that's going
