police in moraga have a new warning about credit card fraud.ple have had their credit card numbers skimmed through devices on card readers in moraga. then the stolen information is being used in southern california. police say gas pumps are easy targets for credit card skimming. officers have been going to gas stations in moraga and inspecting pumps for the devices. ( james ) national guard troops are now along the u-s - mexico border. 4-hundred guardsmen from texas and arizona have been deployed. thousands more may be sent. the border patrol says their about 2-thousand agents short thousand agents short of their congressionally mandated minimum. this comes as a caravan of migrants make their way through mexico... with some bound for the u-s. while the deployment is meant to help secure the southern line -- the law limits what the national guard can do. troops will ánot be able to enforce immigration laws. instead -- they'll serve in support roles like training and construction. both presidents bush and obama sent troops to the border... but th

( james ) after police say he stabbed two victims in the head at an oakland bart station. robert dolth of san francisco was arrested at the coliseum bart station. the victims told police they got on bart in south san francisco on saturday and noticied dolth was acting erratically. feeling unsafe, they got off at the coliseum station. that's when dolth followed and started attacking them. both the female victim and her brother were hospitalized. the brother is in critcal condition. officials say dolth admitted to attacking the victims but did not give a reason why. ( james ) two people are shot in the parking lot of a home depot in emeryville. police received multiple calls of gunshots coming from a party bus that was in the parking lot sunday morning. police say two parked cars were hit by bullets. there have been no arrests. moraga road has been closed between st. to downed power lines and a tree blocking the roadway, lafayette police said. a lafayette police dispatcher said pg&e is doing "extensive repairs" to the power lines. the tree is blocking the roadway near old jonas road. the roadway was originally closed monday night around 10 p.m. residents in the area are advised to use alternate routes around the closure. police said pg&e expects to re-open the road around 4 a.m. or 5 a.m. today, but no official time has been set.
