you saw jp morgan have a lot more usage on telebanking. you know, passing internet banking in terms of speed and adaptation. and you know, they've both worked on their balance sheets. i think the real issue is going to be when rates start to rise, how many of those deposit does they hang on to and how fast? what's the velocity of those deposits leaving. how fast do things drop to the bottom line. people want stocks for the future. not for this quarter. this quarter was ho-hum. >> pete najarian told me that citi was among his top pick of the big banks. is it yours? >> bank of america is among the top 3iks. i would love to buy citi on a pull-back, with all the events going on internationally, whether it's china or greece, citi is going to be a little more correlated to those events. but it's certainly a name i like a lot and i would love to buy on a pull-back. it's been one of my favorites over time. i think bank of america, a little more domestic focus. think they're going to put up a good quarter and i think the bar not that high for them.

i don't think you chase jp morgan and wells fargo. morgan stanley looks attractive and bank of america is the one you probably get some beta. the stock is down about 5% on the year. so if you're looking for a play back to the highs toward 18 bank of america could be the one. >> i'm glad you mentioned europe because the european central bank loans are keeping banks on this side of the atlantic afloat. would you be starting to look for opportunity, some of the banks over here? >> once we get the greek can kicked down the road then you get the focus here. that's something very beneficial to our banks. if that's going to be a trend we'll have over the next year or so you want to mention the word contagion and make sure that that's off the table and any deal with greece makes investors feel more comfortable about it but at this point europe remains uncertain. the u.s. much less so. so now the focus is what is the fed going to do in the fall? that's the one thing i think is going to be the most uncertain factor in the second half of 2015 on

let's get to morgan brennan for the details. hey, morgan. >> hey, melissa.sx reporting an earnings beat. 56 cents per share adjusted. that was three cents higher than analysts had expected. however, revenue was 3.06 billion and that was light. it represented a 6% decline as higher prices were offset by lower volumes. but falling fuel costs and increased productivity did help a key metric of railroad profitability, operating ratio. that hit a record low 66.8% for the quarter. energy the biggest focus. domestic coal volumes expected to fall 10% in 2015 for csx and export coal which has been dented by the strong dollar is expected to remain weak. but there was a relative bright spot that was intermodal, containers of cargo that move between trains, trucks, and ships. >> we've been able to grow that market about 7% a free on the domestic side over the last three years and our domestic intermodal this quarter was actually up 9%. we think there's great vibrancy there. >> the railroad also reiterating earlier eps guidance for 2015 and look at shares of csx in the a
